Summer Camps

P2 Soccer Training

Our summer programming is delivered by P2 Soccer Training: they are the organization that provides our EXTRA team trainers as well as in-season clinics and training around the area.  Register here.

The focus of our camp is on challenging players in a safe and supportive environment. All of the P2 trainers are AYSO trained and background checked, they also hold a coaching license from either USSF, USC or their home-country football association.

We’ll be offering three weeks of camp, one in June, one in July and one in August, taking place at James Park. Look out for early-bird pricing until May 1.

Path2Play: Ages 4-5 years — our beginner soccer that uses disguised learning to engage players. We’ll use each day to focus on a skill that we will practice and then use in games. Each player will receive a jersey and a medal.

Path2Progress: Ages 6-12 years — our grassroots program which uses each day to focus on a field position. We teach players the skills and tactics they need to master that position in a progressive system leading to game-like situations. Each player will receive a jersey and evaluation.

Path2Perfect: Ages 9-15 years — our advanced curriculum presents players with tactical situations that deal with the attacking and defending principles of the game. We’ll talk about the decision making factors that a player should consider in game-realistic situations. Each player will receive a jersey, a water bottle, and a drawstring bag.

Chicago Fire Summer Camp

Chicago Fire FC is offering a summer camp in Evanston August 9-13 in Lovelace Park.  Programs are available for players ages 3-16, including a full day (9am-4pm) option for players ages 6-12.

Each participant will receive a jersey and individual player evaluation.  Coaching staff will be certified, professional youth coaches from Chicago Fire FC.  Participants will be divided into groups based on age and ability (max coach to player ratio is 1:16).  Participants are required to bring their own ball, water bottle, snack, and face mask each day.  Participants should come ready to play in full soccer attire each day.
