It’s that time of year again! We are excited to announce the official tryout dates for our 10U and 12U EXTRA divisions.

What is the EXTRA Program? AYSO EXTRA is a tryout-based, competitive travel soccer program within AYSO. It offers players greater competition and additional opportunities for development at a modest price compared to club soccer. Players selected for the EXTRA squad play on two teams—their Core AYSO team and the EXTRA travel team. Please note that no player is guaranteed to make the squad, and even current EXTRA players must try out again each year.

Tryout Schedule All tryouts will be held at James Park. We strongly encourage players to attend the main weekend tryout date if at all possible:

• 10U Boys & Girls: Saturday, May 2nd | 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM (Fields 3 & 5)

• 12U Boys & Girls: Saturday, May 2nd | 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM (Fields 3 & 5)

• Make-Up Date (All Divisions): Tuesday, May 5th | 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM (Field 8)

What to Expect & Bring During the session, players will be asked to showcase their skills through various drills and scrimmages. We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes early for check-in. All players must bring cleats, shin guards, a size-appropriate soccer ball, and a water bottle. How to Register All players must register for tryouts prior to attending. Simply log in to your Sports Connect account on our website (under "My Account") and look for the eligible programs next to your player's name. There is a $20 registration fee for tryouts. (Note: Only players who make the final team will be asked to pay the full EXTRA registration fee).
